How 'bout them Miners ?!?!
No people, it is not a fluke. Mike Price has transformed the once-laughing stock University of Texas at El Paso Miners into a definite bowl team in only one year. He also did it mainly with people he did not recuit. Not only are they beating people, they are CRUSHING them. Two shutouts in one year. Ranked in the BCS standings (No. 24). No. 23 in the AP poll. No 27 in ESPN/USA Today poll.
This is a fantastic time to be a Miner fan and an awesome time for the City of El Paso.
Hopefully the University can get him to stay in El Paso, since there will be guaranteed offers form much bigger colleges around the nation.
